Trip to the Niagara Falls

Sunday early in the morning we left our motel and drove the last steps to Niagara Falls.  The journey took almost 2 hours.  The border control was very easy because there was no traffic ahead of us!  Everyone was so happy to be in Canada now.

We decided to look for a vacancy before we went to the falls.  The falls made a deep impression on us.  The town was full of life with souvenir shops, restaurants and video arcades.

The boat ride with Maid of the Mist was one of the best things we did.  In the afternoon on the way back to our motel, Daniel saw a racing car for dirt.  The people were very friendly and happy about our interest in the car and what they were doing.  We had to leave the people, there was a severe thunderstorm.  In the evening we went for dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Rose and Sandro enjoyed the stay at Niagara Falls and visited many bars.  We went back to sleep because we wanted to meet our aunt for breakfast.  It was in a beautiful restaurant called River Bend near Niagara on the Lake.  It was  a wonderful time there.   We were unhappy to leave this cozy place because we had to pick up Sandro and Rose at noon in front of the motel.

Before we left Canada we showed Rose and Sandro our favorite place.  Rose was very impressed to see this nice town.  Some flowers she had never seen before.   Sandro was unhappy about this short sightseeing trip.

On the way home we lost one hour  between the Canada and USA border.
